NovAtel ® is pleased to announce the 7.06.01 firmware release for our SMART7 series of SMART antennas for improved precision and performance. Built upon our trusted OEM7® technology, the SMART7 family provides exceptional positioning availability using signals from all constellations and frequencies to deliver reliable autonomy and positioning.
The following key benefits are now available in the 7.06.01 release:
• TerraStar positioning now incorporates compensation of region-specific tectonic movements to ensure the positioning stays relevant, consistent and repeatable year-over-year
• Improved accuracy on select SMART7 variants using new Terrain Compensation functionality that corrects for roll and pitch of a vehicle when operating on uneven ground or slopes
