Firmware 7.05.00
• Public notice of release will be provided when TSCPro is launched (scheduled for Aug 14, 2018)
• SW is already available on the website
• 7.05.00 is a general release for all platforms except for the OEM7600
• 7600 has not yet been released, but will use 7.04.01
• 7.05.00 on OEM7500 will only be available outside of Europe (yet to meet certain European standards). All 7500s are sold as lockdown versions only

Firmware 7.05.00 New Features
• TerraStar-C PRO
• RTKAssist PRO
• Galileo measurements used in position solution
• User application API using LUA scripting language
• Track Galileo E6 signal (beta, not used in positioning)
• Track BeiDou B1C and B2a (beta, not used in positioning)

TSC PRO/RTKAssist PRO
• A separate set of slides will be available when this new correction
service is released in August

Galileo
• By default, the receiver is now using the Galileo measurements of E1, E5a, E5b, E5ALTBOC in all position solutions (in the past, it had to be enabled by command)
• Galileo E6 tracking is available on the 5th channel configuration of all xF models (all frequencies) with Galileo
• Raw frame data is provided, but navigation message is not decoded as the ICD has not been released
• This is a beta feature only, for early customer testing
• E6 is not used in position
• E6 is only available on OEM719, OEM729, OEM7700
• Note: for the FF model, the 5th channel configuration has a reduced number of Galileo and BeiDou channels (11 and 16 respectively, versus 16 and 22)

BeiDou Phase III signals
• BeiDou B1C and B2a tracking are available as a beta feature
• Navigation data is not available
• This is a beta feature only, for early customer testing
• These signals are not used in position
• B1C
• Available on the 5th channel configuration of all xF models (all frequencies) with BeiDou
• B2a
• Only available on supported HW
• Available on all channel configurations supporting B2I
• Receiver will automatically switch between B2I and B2a until one is acquired
• Note: for the FF model, the 5th channel configuration has a reduced number of Galileo and BeiDou channels (11 and 16 respectively, versus 16 and 22)

LUA User App
• LUA is a scripting language
• LUA on OEM7 is replacing the API on OEM6
• Customers will have access to the NovAtel user interface through LUA, which is a script that runs on the receiver
• Marketing name -> still under discussion
• Was available as beta in 7.04.00, and formally released in 7.05.00
• Public launch is planned for Sept 2018, and available for sale now
• Available for purchase as an “-A” model option
No compiler needed!

Known Issues on 7.05.00
• From the release notes:
• Determine a fixed Ambiguity Resolution in RTK mode for GPS L1&L2, GLONASS L1&L2, Galileo E1&E5b and BeiDou B1 & B2 when all frequencies are in use

There is a workaround in the 7.05.00 firmware, where we are providing only a float ambiguity resolution on the third and fourth frequencies using RTK. We are working on a complete solution and aim to provide fixed AR on the third and fourth frequencies in the next FW release.
» Our recommendation is to not specify what we are doing on the third/fourth frequencies unless the customer explicitly asks, and then tell them that we expect to release this in the next firmware version.
